NSW: One dead, three rescued from Blue Mountains
SYDNEY, Jan 10 AAP - A British tourist died during a canyoning expedition in the Blue
Mountains today and was winched out by helicopter.
A professionally-led group of seven were in a deep canyon near Mount Wilson when one
of them, a British tourist, collapsed this afternoon, an NRMA CareFlight helicopter spokesman
said.
The 55-year-old man could not be resuscitated despite repeated attempts.
