NSW: One year on, Iemma believes he's making progress
MORRIS IEMMA says his government has made real progress at improving services and driving
economic activity .. during his first year as premier of NSW.
He says his proudest achievement was bringing down his first budget .. which included
a 696 million dollar deficit .. and new borrowings to fund infrastructure.
Mr IEMMA will tomorrow celebrate the first anniversary of the day he took over as premier
from BOB CARR .. after his predecessor's retirement from politics.
